There was plenty of excitement last August when the new Bolsa Grande High School stadium opened up.
Bolsa Grande’s football team, coached by Alfredo Silva, opened up the new Garden Grove Unified School District’s Bolsa Stadium with a 29-12 victory over Bosco Tech on Friday, Aug. 23.

OC Sports Zone did not cover that game but on Thursday, Sept. 23 a reporter and photographer got to see the first-class facility, which included a new field turf, new stands, new locker-rooms and restrooms and a new press box, a few weeks later when Northwood faced Bolsa Grande.
