Orange High’s revised 2021 football schedule, which includes four home games at remodeled Fred Kelly Stadium, has been finalized, according to Coach Robert Pedroza.
The schedule also includes nonleague games with Yorba Linda, Capistrano Valley and Foothill.
‘”We are excited for this year’s schedule,” Pedroza said. “We play some really good football teams with really good coaches and really good players. We are excited for the challenge. It is a big step up for our program that we are excited about.”
The Panthers’ schedule includes the first home game with Yorba Linda on Friday, Jan. 15. 2021. The first Orange Coast League game is Thursday, Feb. 11 against Costa Mesa.
The schedule was arranged after the CIF announced its new schedule for fall sports last week. In order to be implemented, schools throughout the state will need to have in person instruction and given approval from state and local officials to conduct athletics.
Orange, the defending Orange Coast League champion, will be led by quarterback Daylen Pedroza.
