Orange County high school baseball highlights for Friday and Saturday

Friday games

LAGUNA HILLS 7, WOODBRIDGE 2: The Hawks (5-4, 3-3) salvaged the final game of the three-game series Friday at Ryan Lemmon Stadium after Woodbridge won the first two games. Pitcher Nic Park had a complete game, allowing two hits and striking out five. He was also 1 for 4 with an RBI. Jack Compton was 2 for 4 with three RBI and Dustin Goldman 2 for 4 with an RBI for the Hawks, according to Coach Drew Hillman. Woodbridge was led by Alex Serafin who was 2 for 3 with a run scored.

CORONA DEL MAR 8, FOUNTAIN VALLEY 0: Stevie Jones (4-1) pitched six innings allowing just three his and striking out six to get the win. Jones was also 2 for 2 with two runs scored and a walk. Ganon Overfelt was 1 for 2 with an RBI, walk and a sacrifice.

ESTANCIA 15, SANTA ANA 3: The Eagles (11-2, 3-1) were led by Andrew Mits, who got the win pitching three innings. He did not allow a run, gave up two hits and struck out four to help the Eagles take both games of the Orange Coast League series with Santa Ana.

John Uchytil went 2 for 2 with three runs scored and a double; Cole Lefebvre went 2 for 2 with two runs scored and five RBI and a 3-run home run in the first inning. Sawyer Atkinson was 2 for 3 with two runs scored, three RBI and a three-run home run in the second inning, according to Estancia Coach Nate Goellrich.

Lincoln Silva was 2 for 2 with a run scored and an RBI.

COSTA MESA 6, CALVARY CHAPEL 2: The Mustangs (10-3, 4-0) were led by Troy Simmonds, who got the win pitching three innings and striking out two in the Orange Coast League game. Aiden Comte was 3 for 4 with a home run and four RBI and Wylan Rottschafer 2 for 4 with two runs scored.

FOOTHILL 6, EL DORADO 2: Foothill won its sixth game in a row Friday. Ezekiel Vargas was 2 for 4 with a double, run scored and two RBI, Jack Mueller was 1 for 3 with a home run, run scored and two RBI, Sean Green was 1 for 3 with a run scored and a stolen base and Mason Souter was 1 for 2 with a run scored and a walk.

Brian Harbour (2-0) got the win, allowing two runs and striking out six in four innings. Tyler Hawkins and Garrett Davidson finished up on the mound for the Knights.

FULLERTON 7, BREA OLINDA 5: Logan Davis earned the win in relief, pitching five innings, allowing three hits and no runs. Malachi Meni was 2 for 3 with an RBI, run scored and a walk; Logan Thien was 2 for 4 with three RBI, Zach Fany 2 for 5 with a stolen base and Miguel Valesaquez 1 for 1 with two walks, a hit batter, two stolen bases and an RBI for Fullerton (8-4).

BUENA PARK 5, OXFORD ACADEMY 0: The Coyotes (10-1) were led by Jose Arcos, who pitched a complete game striking out three. Angel Ortega was 1 for 3 with a run scored and a stolen base, Greg Stoddard 1 for 2 with a stolen base, Izeah Reyes was 1 for 2 with a run scored and a double, Nick Hoskins was 1 for 3 with an RBI and Jesus Ramirez 1 for 3 with a stolen base.
