MATER DEI 71, SAN JUAN HILLS 55: The Monarchs (3-1) were led by Luke Barnett, who had 22 points and made four 3-pointers. Blake Davidson had 13 points and eight rebounds and Riley Hale 16 points and three 3-pointers. Mater Dei Coach Gary McKnight moved into second place all-time for wins in high school basketball, school officials said.

EL DORADO 61, CAPO VALLEY 56 (OT): The Golden Hawks (5-2) were led by Brian Kee who had 16 points and four 3-pointers, Caleb Hendrix, who had 15 points, Marcelo Gonzalez, who had 13 points and Noah Barker, who had 12 points.

BONITA 57, TRABUCO HILLS 51: Trabuco Hills (3-3) was led by Ryan Hull with 10 points, Tai Gan with nine points and Bo Clark with eight points.

LA HABRA 60, SAN CLEMENTE 52: San Clemente (7-2) was led by Porter Hansen and Christian Fernandez with 16 points each.

ETIWANDA 66, CYPRESS 58: The Centurions were down early, but put together a strong second half effort. Ryan Gov led Cypress (5-2) with 23 points, 17 points coming in the fourth quarter. King Birdsong finished with 12 points and Ethan Mai six points.

“It was a loss, but I think we can learn a lot from it,” said Coach Derek Mitchell. “We will be back out there on Thursday and be ready to compete.”

LEUZINGER 55, CREAN LUTHERAN 51: Crean Lutheran (3-1) was led by Amari Reynolds, who had 16 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. Jordan Ceballos added 12 points and Will Malual 11 points for the Saints.

JSERRA 66, LA JOLLA COUNTRY 44: JSerra (3-2) was led by BJ Davis-Rey who scored 17 points, Dominic Bolton, who had 13 points and Grayson Sinek, who had 12 points.
