Ocean View’s football team improved its record to 3-0 with a 56-8 win over Calvary Chapel Friday.
The Seahawks started strong, led by senior Will Earthman, who scored three touchdowns in three different ways in the first quarter: a 3-yard TD run, a 13-yard TD reception, and a 67-yard punt return for a score.
He also had a 59-yard TD reception in the second quarter.
Senior Rodrigo Adame had two touchdowns, including an 82-yard kickoff return for a touchdown following a safety.
Noah Hickman had another solid day, completing 7 of 10 passes for 145 yards and two touchdowns.
Dezmond Doxey had 15 carries for 126 yards and two touchdowns, Hickman had seven carries for 52 yards, Will Earthman had four carries, for 41 yards and a touchdown, Rodrigo Adame had four carries for 22 yards and a touchdown and Joe Belles had two carries for nine yards.
Earthman had five catches for 124 yards and two touchdowns and Brandon Alcarez had two catches for 21 yards.
Ocean View is back in action Friday hosting Estancia at 7 p.m.
