Buena Park and St. Margaret’s girls high school basketball teams are ranked No. 1 in their divisions in this week’s CIF basketball poll released Monday.
Buena Park is first in 4AA and St. Margaret’s No. 1 in 5AA.
A number of other OC teams earned high rankings, including Mater Dei (third) and Sage Hill (fourth) in Division 1.
San Juan Hills is second, San Clemente fourth and Fairmont Prep fifth in 2AA, Portola is seventh in 2A, El Dorado is third, Sunny Hills fourth and Northwood sixth in 3AA, Calvary Chapel is seventh in 3A, La Habra is sixth and Irvine seventh in 4AA, Laguna Beach third in 4A and Pacifica is sixth, Ocean View seventh and Marina eighth in 5AA.
Orange is ranked seventh in 5A.
CIF officials also announced the open division watchlist and it includes Mater Dei, Orange Lutheran, Sage Hill.
