NORTH OC CHAMPIONSHIPS

Cypress 47, Fairmont Prep 43: Cypress notched a win over the No. 5 team in the county Friday. Cypress was led by sophomore, Ryan Gov who had 14 points including two 3-pointers. Hayden Roberts contributed clutch baskets in the fourth quarter and finished with 13 points. Michael Wright added nine points.

“Their big really limited our paint points tonight with his length. We struggled to get anything inside tonight,” said Cypress Coach Derek Mitchell.

Cypress plays No. 7 Edison Saturday at 4:30 p.m.

Etiwanda 61, Villa Park 44: The Spartans (5-6) were led by Mal Johnson, who had 18 points and three assists., Dakari Harris added 10 points and three rebounds.

ED PRANGE MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT

Sunny Hills 59, Yorba Linda 54: The Lancers (10-2) were led by Kamron Tonga, who had 13 points and Ze Brien Watkins, who had 12 points in the championship semifinal. Jordan Laws scored 16 points and Holden Nagin 13 points for Yorba Linda (8-4). Sunny Hills Lancers play Huntington Beach Saturday at 4 p.m. in the final.

NON-LEAGUE

Godinez 64, Oxford Academy 45: Godinez (9-5) was led by Adrian Gonzalez, who scored 19 points. Lucas Andaluz and Israel Moreno added 14 points each.

Fountain Valley 82, University 71: The Barons (8-4) were led by Colin Risse who had 30 points and Aaron DeSantiago, who had 25 points. Parker Rodriguez added 15 points and four 3-pointers. University (3-10) was led by Christian DeBarge, who had 23 points and five steals and Andrew Bogard, who had 17 points and seven rebounds.

Aliso Niguel 48, Laguna Beach 43: The Wolverines (9-2) captured a road win Friday night. Aliso Niguel was led by Jay Keys with 13 points and Jayden Mysin and Charlie Gass with nine points each.

Northwood 83, Los Amigos 65: The Timberwolves (9-3) were led by Zaid Yunis, who had 17 points and five rebounds. TJ Navarro had 15 points and five 3-pointers. Ryan Abaye had 11 points, eight assists and seven steals. He broke the school record for most steals. Sam Alegre and Justin Liu added 10 points for Northwood.

SUNNY HILLS TOURNAMENT

Portola 59, Sonora 37: Kira Watanabe scored 17 points and made five 3-pointers with five assists to lead Portola. Watanabe reached 500 career assists, a school record.

SHERIE EDMONDS MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT

Aquina 49, Canyon 44: Canyon was led by Mariah Streeter who had 23 points and Emmy Smith, who had 10 points.

NON-LEAGUE

Crean Lutheran 63, Brea Olinda 43
