Newport Harbor will face Palm Desert Thursday night at 6 in the championship game of the Elks Holiday Classic.
The boys basketball tournament is being held at Century High. It has used a format of two pools.
In the other games Thursday at Century, Northwood faces Segerstrom at 3 p.m. and Brea Olinda meets Cal High at 6 p.m.
There was a three-way tie for first place in one pool and Palm Desert edged Northwood by one point (fewest points allowed), according to Northwood Coach Christian Manalo.
