Marina High School’s girls basketball team defeated No. 2-seeded San Pedro 51-43 Tuesday night in San Pedro to win the CIF SoCal Division V title.
The No. 8-seeded Vikings (21-15) advance into the state final Saturday, March 11 at 10 a.m. at Golden 1 Center to meet Bret Harte (25-7).
Tiana To scored 19 points, had six steals and five rebounds; Rylee Bradley had 14 points and four rebounds; Sydnee Smith had nine points and 10 rebounds and Mia Grasse eight rebounds for Coach Daniel Roussel’s Vikings, according to Marina Athletic Director Nick Racklin.
No. 3 Bret Harte defeated top-seeded Fall River 58-47 in the Northern California regional.
