LOARA 51, SANTA ANA VALLEY 30: The Saxons (4-5) captured a non-league victory Wednesday at Santa Ana Valley. The Saxons broke the game open in the second period outscoring the Falcons 14-2.
Sophomore Markus Toscano led Loara with 13 points. Junior Isaac Malaga had seven points and seven rebounds. Loara plays rival Anaheim Friday night in the Colonists gym at 6 p.m.
YORBA LINDA 53, EL TORO 47: The Mustangs (4-4) captured a victory at the Gary Raya Classic. Jason Cassachia scored 16 points to lead Yorba Linda. Jermari Dixon added 10 points.
El Toro (3-9) was led by Ashton Rico who scored 16 points.
FOOTHILL 69, JSERRA 64: The Knight captured a victory at the Beach Bash Tournament at CdM. Cruz Billings scored 24 points and Jake Horton 14 points to lead Foothill (8-0). JSerra (4-1) was led by Everett Bryson with 16 points. Joshua Ragsdale scored 14 points and Robert Diaz had 12 points.
Foothill took the place of Crean Lutheran, which had to drop out of the tournament due to a positive test by one player, according to Saints Coach Nate Klitzing.
SAN JUAN HILLS 71, TEMECULA VALLEY 30: The Stallions won their fifth in a row to improve their record to 10-2 with a victory in the CVC Classic. Thomas Hatten scored 16 points and Mark Reichner added 12 points to lead San Juan Hills.
