UNIVERSITY 62, LAGUNA HILLS 41: The Trojans captured a Pacific Coast League victory. Jad Hajj-Shehadeh had 19 points, Carson Baxter 18 points and Joseph Purser 13 points.
MATER DEI 54, TESOR0 29: The Monarchs handed Tesoro (10-1) its first loss of the season at the Beach Bash Tourney at CdM. Zack Davidson scored 15 points and grabbed six rebounds and Owen Verna added 11 points for Mater Dei(5-1). Tesoro was led by Carson Brown, who scored 13 points.
SANTA MARGARITA 73, COSTA MESA 31: The Eagles captured their ninth win of the season without a loss in the non-league game at Costa Mesa.

YORBA LINDA 52, UPLAND 37: The Mustangs (5-4) notched a victory at the Gary Raya Classic. Jason Cassachia scored 15 points and Jermari Dixon 14 points to lead Yorba Linda, which faces El Dorado Saturday at 6 p.m. in the championship game.
