University’s girls basketball team is off to a successful start.
Coach Nicole Bradshaw’s team won the Norco Tournament last week and Claire Kawata was named to the all-tournament team.
Malia Goldsmith was named the MVP. She had 35 points in the Trojans 54-40 victory over San Clemente in the championship game.
Kawata had seven points and Guila Roy added five points. Goldsmith had seven rebounds, Aryn Press had nine rebounds, Roy had seven rebounds and Neeyaz Cyrus had six rebounds.
