FULLERTON 14, TROY 2: The Tribe (20-5, 10-2) captured a Freeway League victory Friday. Nate Norman was 4 for 5 with two doubles, two runs scored and an RBI, Carlos Barrios hit his first home run of the year and Jeremy Maldonado was 2 for 4 with two doubles and three RBI.
TRABUCO HILLS 6, SAN CLEMENTE 3: The Mustangs (20-5, 9-1) won on a walk-off three run home run by Garrett Strenger. Strenger was 1 for 3 with three RBI, Bobby Gray was 2 for 3 with a home run and a single, Ryan Sison was 2 for 3 with two singles and an RBI and Tyler Collins was 1 for 3.
Robert Read pitched the first five innings, striking out three and allowing five hits. Bryan Ramirez pitched the final two innings, striking out two and allowing four hits.
TESORO 6, CAPISTRANO VALLEY 3: The Titans (18-7, 4-5) captured a South Coast League victory Friday. Ryan Rios got the win, allowing three hits and no earned runs and striking out four in five innings. Owen Faust led the offensive attack, going 2 for 2 with an RBI and a walk.
FOOTHILL 4, SERVITE 0: The Knights won their last game in the Boras Classic with a shutout from Gabe Garcia and perfect defense. Garcia struck out five and allowed just two hits. Aiden Taurek was 2 for 3 witha double, triple and two stolen bases, Brady Schrank was 1 for 4 with a double, RBI and a stolen base and Mason Souter was 1 for 2 with an RBI.
