Fullerton High School’s girls flag football team completed the regular season Monday with a 43-7 Empire League victory over Tustin.
The Indians earned the league title with a 12-0 record and are 20-7 entering the CIF playoffs.

CIF playoff pairings will be announced on Friday.
Quarterback Ava Flores led Fullerton, completing 19 of 25 passes for 315 yards and five touchdown passes. Amber Boland had seven catches for 125 yards and two touchdowns and Mahlia Jordan eight catches for one touchdown for Fullerton.
Fullerton coach Frank Ramirez said that “balance” is the key to the team’s success.
“My assistant coaches create the balance that is needed to be successful with our student athletes at Fullerton Union High School,” he said. “Thank you Coach Quentin Pounds, Leon Palmisano, Alexandra Walker and Kikey Ramos.”
Fullerton advanced to the CIF finals in Division 4 last season, losing to Santa Monica 28-6.
“We look forward to and accept all challenges that lay ahead with CIF playoffs,” Ramirez said. “Fullerton Union will be experienced and ready.”
