Newly-remodeled Fred Kelly Stadium on the El Modena High School campus is the site of three CIF football playoff games this weekend. The games start at 7 p.m.
The stadium is home to four high schools in the Orange Unified School District. It was totally renovated in 2020.
Here’s a quick look at the games:
THURSDAY NIGHT
El Modena 15, Pasadena 14, Division 3
Next game: El Modena vs. Friday’s Vista Murrieta vs. Bishop Diego game
FRIDAY NIGHT
Murrieta Mesa (6-4) vs. Villa Park (5-5), Division 5
Next game: Winner plays winner of St. Francis vs. Silverado game.
Note: VIlla Park is top seed.
SATURDAY NIGHT
Huntington Beach (5-5 ) vs. Orange (8-2), Division 6
Next game: Winner plays Palm Desert vs. San Juan Hills winner
