Orange High’s football team is back into full workouts in preparation for its season opener on Friday, March 12 against Villa Park in the renovated Fred Kelly Stadium.
Orange, coached by Robert Pedroza, captured the Orange Coast League title in 2019.
The Panthers will play an abbreviated six-game schedule as allowed under the latest CIF guidelines. There will not be any CIF playoffs.
“We are very excited to get an opportunity to take the field this season and represent the great city of Orange, the alumni and all of our amazing fans,” Pedroza said.
Top returners for the Panthers include quarterback Daylen Pedroza, along with Blaze Iglesias, Christopher Quiroga, Nathan Cook, Issac Adetoye and Isiaha Adetoye.
Top newcomers include Kobe Boykin, Xavier Hicks, Raymond Casillas, Justin Harris and Edward Fonua.
