Five Orange County high school girls volleyball teams will be going for CIF championships Saturday in the finals at different locations.
El Toro has already been named CIF Division 3 champion as a result of a forfeit of its scheduled opponent in the finals, JSerra, because of the use of an ineligible player in the playoffs, according to CIF officials.
On Saturday, Mater Dei, Aliso Niguel, Huntington Beach, Capistrano Valley Christian and Tarbut V’ Torah will go for titles.
FINALS SCHEDULE:
6 p.m. unless noted.
Division 1: Marymount vs. Mater Dei at Mira Costa High School.
Division 2: Aliso Niguel at Huntington Beach
Division 4: Bishop Alemany at Oaks Christian
Division 5: Chino Hills at Torrance
Division 6: El Rancho at Santa Barbara, 5 p.m.
Division 7: Capistrano Valley Christian at Bishop Diego
Division 8: Santa Clarita Christian at Wiseburn DaVinci
Division 9: Tarbut ‘V Torah vs. United Christian Academy at Colony High School.
