ESTANCIA 5, COSTA MESA 0: The Eagles completed a sweep of the Mustangs with a victory Friday at Estancia in an Orange Coast League make-up game.
Estancia (14-2, 7-1) was led by Andrew Mits. Mits (6-2) notched the win with a complete game, allowing three hits and striking out 10.
Cole Lefebvre was 2 for 3 with a run scored and a double. John Uchytil was 2 for 3 with two runs scored and an RBI and Gabe Avila was 1 for 3 with a run scored.
EL MODENA 1, EL DORADO 0: The Vanguards were led by Nick Santivanez, who pitched a complete game shutout striking out seven. He also had the only RBI of the game. Lukas Alvarado was 3 for 3 for the Vanguards.
PACIFICA 4, VILLA PARK 0: The Mariners captured the championship at the Loara Tournament Friday. Chad Gurnea got the victory, striking out five and allowing two hits in four innings. He also went 2 for 3 with a double and two runs scored. Brady pitched three innings, striking out one. Roman Cruz was 2 for 3, Jayson Juarez was 2 for 2 with two RBI and a run scored, Ryland Chastain was 1 for 1 with two RBI and Nolan Caira was 1 for 3.
LA HABRA 3, TROY 0: The Highlanders were led by Jared Day, who recorded the victory, pitching six innings. He struck out seven and did not allow a run. Day also had two hits and an RBI. Spencer Carty was 3 for 3 with three stolen bases, Maddox Moreno was 1 for 3 with an RBI, Jacob Garcia was 1 for 2 with a run scored, Bobby Brooks was 1 for 3 with a run scored and Andrew Gandara 1 for 3.
SAN CLEMENTE 4, EL TORO 0: The Tritons (9-3, 2-1) were led by Brock Della Vedova, who had a three-run double in the fifth inning. Sophomore Mike Erspamer and senior Rhyn Chambers combined on a shutout.
SERVITE 4, LA MIRADA 3: The Friars (9-8) captured a non-league victory Friday. Miles Xavier Scott, Ben Dominguez, Carter Vanderhook and Jaden Mackowiak combined on a strong pitching effort. Van Hook was credited with the victory.
CORONA DEL MAR 2, FOUNTAIN VALLEY 0: The Sea Kings got a strong pitching effort to win the Surf League game.
