Cypress boys basketball team extended its winning streak to 12 games defeating Torrance 58-52 Saturday evening at the Staples Center.
The annual game with Torrance was played after the Clippers afternoon game against the Nuggets.
Jared Brown led Cypress (13-1) with 21 points, Anthony Tello had 10 points.
Cypress heads to the Las Vegas High Tournament next week. The Centurions open against Chaparral on Wednesday, Dec. 26 at 7 p.m.
