Crean Lutheran High School’s boys basketball team will have a chance to capture one more title Saturday night.
The Saints, who won the CIF 2A title last week, will go for the Southern California Regional 2AA crown when they host Santa Margarita at 7 p.m. in the championship game.
Top-seeded Crean Lutheran won its second consecutive overtime game in the regionals, defeating Los Altos 52-46 Thursday night in the semifinals at Crean Lutheran.
Sixth-seeded Santa Margarita defeated No. 2-seeded Rolling Hills Prep 52-44 in the other semifinal to earn a trip to the regional championship game.
Crean Lutheran (19-2) was led by Koat Keat, who had 24 points and 20 rebounds. Parker Tuttle had 17 points, including a 3-pointer in the overtime that sealed the win for the Saints.
James Agany had 11 points for the Saints.
