Crean Lutheran’s girls basketball team won its sixth game in a row to start the season, defeating Whittier Christian 54-49 Wednesday night in the La Habra Tournament.
The Saints move on to the championship game of the tournament Friday at 5:30 p.m. against Bishop Amat.
Taylor Feldman scored 26 points and Shannon O’Malley added 12 points for Crean Lutheran, according to Coach Bianca Ziemann.
Woodbridge 52, Trabuco Hills 43: The Warriors (3-0) were led by Erika Maggard, who scored 16 points. Maddie Yasui added 12 points and made four 3-pointers and Tiffany Nguyen scored eight points in the game played on Tuesday.
