Pacifica 6, Oaks Christian 3: The Mariners won a home game in the semifinals Thursday to advance into the finals either Friday May 19 or Saturday, May 20 at Bill Barber Park against Norco. Norco defeated Murrieta Mesa in the other semifinal.
DIVISION 2
Moorpark 6, JSerra 3: The Lions fall in the CIF quarterfinals at home. Reese Ferrel had two hits and an RBI. Kea Caster also had a two-run double. Kat Fonseca and Bella Bos also collected a hit.

Irvine 8, Ocean View 5: Freshman Harper Vandermolen went 3 for 4 with two runs scored and two RBI and junior Sienna Porter went 3 for 4 with two RBI to lead the top-seeded Vaqueros to a win at Ocean View. Junior Hyli DeLosSantos pitched seven innings, allowing no earned runs for Irvine, according to Irvine Coach Jim Knapp.
The score was 4-4 after one inning. Then Irvine (20-10) scored a run in the third, two in the fifth and one in the seventh. Ocean View (19-7) was led by leadoff hitter Kaya Collado, who was 3 for 4 and second baseman Sienna Erskine, who was 3 for 3 with a walk and two runs scored. Irvine will host Santa Paula Saturday at 10 a.m.
Northwood 6, Covina 5: The second-seeded Timberwolves battled back from an early 3-0 deficit to advance into the semifinals Saturday at home against third-seeded Liberty.
