Corona del Mar’s football program held its annual intra-squad game Thursday on the new on-campus facility.
The Sea Kings varsity team is preparing for the season opener on Friday, Aug. 27 vs. Paramount at Newport Harbor.
After the game, the CdM football program handed out its annual Jack Elliott Character Award. Last season’s recipient was Jack Johnston was also honored. He then announced this year’s winner of the award named in honor of the late CdM football player.
The award is handed out to a player who “embodies strong character and a commitment to his team,” CdM officials said.
