Top-ranked Mater Dei is in tonight’s semifinals against Corona del Mar.
The semifinals for the Beach Bash Boys Basketball Tournament are set for tonight (Friday, Dec. 7) at Corona del Mar.
Trabuco Hills faces Pacifica Christian at 6:30 p.m. and Corona del Mar meets Mater Dei at 8 p.m.
The tournament wraps up on Saturday at CdM. The tournament is pool play so the finals schedule will be announced after the game.
Mater Dei, ranked No. 1 in the county by the Orange County Register, has won its first two games, defeating Compton and Segerstrom.

At Sage Hill: Fort Collins vs. Sage Hill, 4 p.m.; Roosevelt vs. Westminster, 5:30 p.m.; Los Alamitos vs. Segerstrom, 7 p.m.
At Corona del Mar: Edison vs. Eaglecrest, 3:30 p.m.; Crean Lutheran vs. Compton, 5 p.m.; Trabuco Hills vs. Pacifica Christian, 6:30 p.m.; Mater Dei vs. Corona del Mar, 8 p.m.
