Canyon High School’s tentative 2021 football schedule, which includes non-league games with Irvine, Pacifica and El Modena, has been finalized, according to Coach Mike Ogas.
“We are excited for the season although we will be very young,” Ogas said.
Among the top players returning is free safety Teddy Schuster, who will be a three-year starter for the Comanches.
High school coaches had to come up with new schedules after CIF officials moved the tentative starting date from August 2020 to January 2021 because of the coronavirus pandemic. Local and state health officials will have to give final approval for the season to occur.
