Capo Valley Christian’s boys basketball team, the defending CIF 3A champion, is among the eight teams entered in the Diablo Inferno Boys Basketball Tournament at Mission Viejo High Monday, Dec. 2 through Saturday Dec. 7.
Coach Christopher Childress’ Eagles are grouped in Pool B with Carlsbad, University and Woodbridge
Teams in Pool A will be Beckman, Mission Viejo, Notre Dame High and San Juan Hills.
Opening round games on Monday, Dec. 2: Notre Dame vs. Carlsbad, 5 p.m.; Capo Valley Christian vs. University, 6:30 p.m.; Beckman vs. Mission Viejo, 8 p.m.
Tuesday, Dec. 3: University vs. Notre Dame, 5 p.m.; Woodbridge vs. Carlsbad, 6:30 p.m.; San Juan Hills vs. Mission Viejo, 8 p.m.
Wednesday, Dec. 4: Woodbridge vs. Capo Valley Christian, 6:30 p.m.; University vs. Mission Viejo, 8 p.m.
Thursday, Dec. 5: Beckman vs. Notre Dame, 5 p.m.; Carlsbad vs. Capo Valley Christian, 6:30 p.m.; San Juan Hills vs. Woodbridge, 8 p.m.
Friday, Dec. 6: San Juan Hills vs. Beckman, 6:30 p.m.
Saturday, Dec. 7: Third place game, 6 p.m.; championship, 7:30 p.m.
