Cypress High’s football team, coming off a 10–0 regular season and Empire League championship, is seeded fourth in the CIF Divison 7 playoffs that begin this week.
The Centurions will face Huntington Beach (2-8), an at-large team from the Sunset League.
Serrano (10-0), the Mojave League champion, is seeded first; Long Beach Wilson (9-1), the Moore League runnerup, is seeded second and Temecula Valley (8-2), the Southwestern League co-champion, is seeded third.
