Segerstrom High School School senior Adrian Landeros threw a perfect game Tuesday, leading the Jaguars to a 6-0 Golden West League baseball victory over Buena Park at Segerstrom, according to Jaguars Coach Erasmo Ramirez.
Landeros (5-0) had four strikeouts and threw just 65 pitches in seven innings, the coach said.
“It’s believed to be the first (perfect game) in school history,” Ramirez said. “He gave up no hits and no runs and the defense played very well making great plays behind him. Outstanding job.”
The Jaguars (6-5, 3-1) were led offensively by Elijah Sandoval and Robert Anoba, who each had two hits.
