ESTANCIA 8, PIONEER 1: Estancia (3-2) was led by winning pitcher Lincoln Silva (1-0). He pitched five shutout innings, did not allow a hit and struck out three.
Athan Perez was 2 for 3 with three runs scored, two RBI and walked twice, Jake Humphries was 3 for 5 with two runs scored and an RBI, Sawyer Atkinson was 3 for 4 with two RBI and a double and Nico Viramontes was 3 for 5 with an RBI.
Estancia is scheduled to face La Serna Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at Angel Stadium as part of the Halo Classic.
CORONA DEL MAR 6, SAN JUAN HILLS 0: The Sea Kings (4-0) were led by Marcello Anelli, who pitched six innings, striking out seven to earn the win. He’s now 2-0. Charlie Kaster was 3 for 3 with three runs scored, Brady Gadol was 2 for 3 with a run scored and an RBI and Vincent Minard was 2 for 4 with three RBI.
FULLERTON 7, FOUNTAIN VALLEY 2: The Indians were led by Evan Terrazas who pitched six innings striking out one to earn the win. Miguel Velasquez was 4 for 4 with a home run, two RBI and three runs scored, Lazer Rojas was 2 for 3 with three RBI and Malachi Meni was 1 for 3 with two runs scored.
