Thursday morning’s rain caused postponements of all four Pacific Coast League baseball games due to wet grounds, coaches and an athletic director confirmed.
The games were: Irvine at Beckman, Woodbridge at Laguna Hills, Sage Hill at Portola and University at Northwood.
No makeup games have been scheduled.
“They are working on rescheduling to late March or early April,” Portola Athletic Director Peter Abe said of the Sage Hill-Portola game.
All the PCL teams are also scheduled to play on Saturday. Woodbridge is scheduled to meet Sage Hill in a doubleheader. But rain is also predicted for Friday and Saturday.
In addition, the La Habra vs. Santa Ana Newport Elks Tournament game scheduled for Thursday was postponed, according to Saints Coach Dave Silva. Silva said the playing field was too wet at Santa Ana to play. No makeup has been announced.
