TUSTIN 44, EL MODENA 41: The Tillers (3-1) captured the third place game in the Luis Macias Tournament Saturday. Johnny Sagarino had 12 points and Carson Jue and Eli Nyeazi nine points each to lead Tustin. El Modena (2-1) was led by Brady Lemnitzer and Jaden Esparza with 12 points each and Drew Rodriguez with 10 points.

SANTA ANA 69, LA QUINTA 44: Jack Rivera scored 21 points, Emmanuel Lemus had 18 points and Alexis Neria 11 points to lead the Saints (2-1) in the morning game.

“This week we played hard, we have a lot of things to clean up, but we played hard and we played well together,” said Saints first year Coach Zach Johnson.

Rumble for Rosecrans

NORTHWOOD 82, WESTERN CHRISTIAN 42: The Timberwolves (2-3) wrapped up the tournament with a win. Zaid Yunis had 16 points, Arya Kumar 15 points, Aditya Sheth 13 points and Aidan Arnold 10 points to lead Northwood.

Jim Harris Memorial Tournament

TRABUCO HILLS 64, SONORA 51: The Mustangs captured third place in the Jim Harris Memorial Tournament at Ocean View. Nate Tuttle had 19 points and eight rebounds, Matt Mowers had 15 points, 13 rebounds and six assists and Jack Warnick 12 points and four rebounds to lead Trabuco Hills.

MIRA COSTA 43, TESORO 41: The Titans lost in the championship game of the Jim Harris Memorial Tournament Saturday night. Carson Brown and Nathan Draper of Tesoro were named to the all-tournament team.
