Corona del Mar’s baseball team captured its seventh consecutive victory Friday, defeating Marina 12-0 in a Sunset Surf League game at Marina.
The Sea Kings are 12-6 overall and 5-0 in league play. Jack Bolt (5-2) pitched five innings, allowing just one hit and struck out nine to notch the win.
CdM had 12 hits. Charlie Mannon led the way going 2 for 4 with a home run and three RBI. Van Sidebotham was 3 for 4 with two RBI and two runs scored.
CdM will play again Saturday at noon vs. Northwood at the Ryan Lemmon Tournament. This game will take place on field eight at the Great Park. Click here for full tournament schedule:
