Sunny Hills boys soccer team defeated Palmdale Friday in penalty kicks in the quarterfinal round of the CIF Division 3 playoffs Friday at Sunny Hills.
The match was tied 1-1 at the end of regulation. Then Sunny Hills won 3-1 in penalty kicks.
Tyler Ip, Matthias Brown and Daniel Park scored on penalty kicks and goalie Logan Williams had two saves in the overtime to help the Lancers advance to the semifinals Tuesday.
