Beckman, Servite, CVC, Foothill, Sonora and Yorba Linda win

BECKMAN 51, LAGUNA HILLS 38: The Patriots opened Pacific Coast League play with a victory on the road. Dowon Kim scored 17 points and Sam Evans 10 points to lead the Patriots (5-6, 1-0).

SERVITE 57, SOUTH TORRANCE 34: The Friars won their second game in a row at the Bellflower Tournament. Tyler Small scored 16 points and Miles Song 14 to lead the Friars (4-1).

CAPO VALLEY CHRISTIAN 85, MISSION VIEJO 35: The Eagles improved their record to 6-0 with a victory in their own tournament. Mac West scored 35 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and had five assists and Arik Mawien had 27 points, 10 rebounds and six blocks to lead Capo Valley Christian.

FOOTHIll 56, VALLEY VIEW 33: The Knights captured a victory at the Beach Bash Tourney at CdM. Cruz Billings scored 17 points and Mikey Mazurie had 11 points to lead Foothill (7-0).

SONORA 51, CYPRESS 49: Sonora (7-4) won in the home opener for Cypress Tuesday night. Evan Tardiff scored 19 points and made three 3-pointers and Samuel Esparza had 13 points and three 3-pointers to lead Sonora.

Cypress (1-6) was led by Kody Papke with 14 points and two 3-pointers and Jonas Hanson with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

YORBA LINDA 44, SAGE HILL 36: The Mustangs (3-4) won their second straight game at the Gary Raya Classic. Jermari Dixon scored 16 points and Ayaan Ismail had nine points to lead Yorba Linda.

Ryyan Saddiqi and Jaden Fabella had 10 points each for Sage Hill (6-4).
