CIF BASEBALL PLAYOFFS: Trabuco Hills, Laguna Hills, Orange Lutheran and JSerra advance (final scores)

TRABUCO HILLS 2, SIERRA CANYON 0: Coach Michael Burns Mustangs advanced into the semifinal round on Tuesday with another strong pitching effort by ace Mason Molina in the CIF Division 2 quarterfinals Friday.

Molina pitched a shutout, striking out seven and allowing two hits to lead Trabuco Hills. Drew Barrett was 1 for 3 with a run scored, Bobby Gray was 1 for 3 with a home run and an RBI, Molina was 1 for 3 with an RBI and Tyler Collins was 1 for 3.

Trabuco Hills will face Camarillo Tuesday in the semifinals.

LAGUNA HILLS 4, CREAN LUTHERAN 2: The Hawks topped the fourth-seeded Saints Friday in the CIF Division 4 quarterfinals Friday. Laguna Hills to move into the semifinals on Tuesday.

ORANGE LUTHERAN 2, BISHOP AMAT 1 (8 innings): The Lancers (29-4) pushed across a run in the bottom of the eighth inning to advance. Orange Lutheran moves on to face Harvard Westlake. Max Andeel scored the game winning run after a pop fly got away from an infielder.
