ORANGE 3, LA QUINTA 1: The Panthers (19-11) got a strong pitching effort from David Celoski, who pitched a complete game, striking out 12 in the CIF Division 6 playoff opener.

OCEAN VIEW 5, SIMI VALLEY 4 (9 innings): Caleb Hohman was 2 for 2 with a walk and was also hit by a pitch. He had two RBI. Hohman also had the game-tying RBI. Mulivi Levu had the game-winning sacrifice fly.
