WOODBRIDGE 15, ESTANCIA 3: Woodbridge, coached by Ryan Brucker, notched its second win a row to start the season with a non-league victory Wednesday at Estancia. The Warriors had 13 hits, led by Nevan Namgoong who was 3 for 3 with two runs scored, two stolen bases and two walks.
Caden Camacho was 1 for 1 with three runs scored, an RBI and two walks, Henry Uhrik was 2 for 4 with a double, three runs scored and an RBI, Vaughn Tase was 2 for 2 with two runs scored and two RBI. Alex Johnson pitched four innings allowing no runs and striking out five.
Jake Humphries was 2 for 4 with a double, triple, run scored and an RBI, Sawyer Atkinson was 0 for 1 with two sacrifice flies and a stolen base, Nico Viramontes was 2 for 2 and Vaughn McCrea was 1 for 3 with a double to lead Estancia in its season opener.
Woodbridge opened the season Tuesday with a 3-0 victory over Tustin at Ryan Lemmon Stadium.
Vincent DeMarco and Dylan Mutuc combined to throw a no-hitter for the Warriors. DeMarco pitched the first five innings, striking out 12 and walking three. Mutuc pitched two innings striking out two. Namgoong was 2 for 3 with a triple, run scored and two RBI to lead the offense.
