USA Water Polo will host an Olympic Day celebration at its new offices on Sunday, June 23 in Irvine from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The office is at 6 Morgan, Suite 150, Irvine 92618.
The event is free and there will be many exciting activities happening throughout the day. The event celebrates Olympic Day and USA Water Polo’s move from Huntington Beach to Irvine. The official ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 12:30 p.m. with the Irvine Chamber of Commerce and Mayor Pro Tem Anthony Kuo.
Attendees can enjoy food trucks, carnival games (bounce house, dunk tank, face painting) a USA Water Polo retail pop up shop and a 50/50 raffle.
Also, USA Dodgeball will be there with a demonstration of its own. To cap things off there will also be an autograph session with USA Water Polo Olympians including: Genai Kerr, U.S. Olympian, Rachel Fattal, U.S. Olympic Gold Medalist; and Kaleigh Gilchrist, U.S. Olympic Gold Medalist.
Last week the USA Women’s National Team qualified for the 2020 Olympic Games with a gold medal victory at the 2019 FINA World League Super Final. The USA Men’s National Team will look to punch its ticket to Tokyo later this summer at the FINA World Championship and Pan American Games.
The new office will be the corporate office for both the women’s and men’s water polo programs.
