Updates on the 61st annual North-South Orange County All-Star Football Game

The 61st annual North vs. South All-Star Football Classic is being played tonight at Orange Coast College.

SCORE UPDATE

South 27 North 13 (FINAL)

The South scored first on a 10-yard TD run by Nate Billoups of San Clemente then added to its lead when David Meyer of Mission Viejo intercepted a pass and returned it 35 yards for a score.

The North got on the scoreboard when Cade McConnell of Los Alamitos scored on a 1-yard TD run in the second quarter.

Looks like around 5,000 fans here on a chilly night. Among those in attendance are about 35 members of Coach Peter Abe’s Portola team, here to watch lineman Samuel Gatta.

There were five interceptions in the first half combined.
