TESORO 84, PORTOLA 70: The Titans (7-1) captured a win over Portola Friday night at the Mariko Memorial Classic. Tesoro was led by by Carson Brown, who had 24 points, seven rebounds and six assists; Nathan Draper, who had 24 points, eight rebounds and three assists and Jake Bennett, who had 16 points and nine rebounds.
Ryan Chu scored 17 points, Colin Huang had 16 points, Jayden Villanueva 13 points and Adrian Bravo and Devin Daniel had 10 points each for Coach Brian Smith’s Portola team (6-2).
FOOTHILL 59, BECKMAN 56: The Knights notched a non-league victory Friday at Beckman. Travis Paleo had 17 points and Blake Pearson had 17 points and six rebounds to lead the Knights. Isaiah Bernard had 10 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and three blocks for Foothill (5-0).
TRABUCO HILLS 56, LAGUNA BEACH 41: The Mustangs (5-2) won at the Mariko Memorial Classic Friday night. Nate Tuttle had 11 points and six rebounds, Jordan Nguyen had 10 points and four rebounds, Jack Warnick had 10 points and four rebounds and Matt Mowers had 10 points to lead Trabuco Hills.
LOARA 51, WESTERN 40: Loara was led by 6-6 junior center Markus Toscano who had 28 points, 14 rebounds and four blocked shots in the Loara Tournament game. Sean Dumapias added nine points and five assists for the Saxons (2-4). Loara will face Costa Mesa Saturday at 1 p.m. at Loara. Western will face California at 11:30 a.m.
YORBA LINDA 62, CERRITOS 52: The Mustangs (4-0) were led by Tanner Yoon, who had 18 points and Orlando O. Laws, who had 13 points.
VILLA PARK 81, SAN MARINO 58: The Spartans (6-3) defeated previously undefeated San Marino in a tournament in San Dimas. Mikey Archer had 26 points and three assists, Jack Sharar had 15 points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots and Dakari Harris had 10 points and eight rebounds for Villa Park. Mal Johnson added 10 points and five assists for Villa Park, which will face Diamond Bar in the tournament championship Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
LOS ALAMITOS 67, CYPRESS 48: The Griffins won the non-league game Friday night. Liam Gray scored 27 points and Samori Guyness 14 points to lead Los Alamitos. Cypress (2-2) was led by Jonah Kim with 16 points and Ryan Gov with nine points.
