Tesoro boys basketball team uses strong defense to top Dana Hills 46-32 in league opener

Tesoro’s boys basketball team used a strong defensive effort to defeat Dana Hills 46-32 in the Sea View League opener at Tesoro.

The Titans (15-3 overall) held Dana Hills to four points in the first quarter and seven in the second quarter.

Tesoro led 27-11 at halftime. The Titans were led by Matt DeAngelo, who scored 21 points and grabbed six rebounds. Kaden Garrett had 12 points and seven rebounds and Mike Mahlen contributed seven points and four rebounds.
