Sunny Hills football team wrapped up the regular season with a thrilling 21-20 victory over Fullerton in overtime Friday night at Fullerton to finish 7-3 overall and in second place in the Freeway League with a 4-1 mark.
The game was tied 14-14 at the end of regulation.
Nick Wilde scored the Lancers touchdown in the overtime on a 2-yard run and then broke up a 2-point conversion pass attempt after the Indians scored a TD on their first OT drive.
The win gave Sunny Hills its fourth consecutive Fullerton City Championship with wins over Fullerton and Troy. The Lancer seniors never lost to Troy or Fullerton although their wins this year came by a total of three points.
