Six Orange County high school boys basketball teams will take part in the MLK Dream Classic on Martin Luther King Day Monday, Jan. 16 at St. John Bosco.
Foothill (20-1) is among the teams scheduled to participate in the day-long event. The Knights, coached by Yousof Etemadi, are on a 15-game winning streak and face La Mirada (16-6) at 7 p.m.
Foothill defeated Chaparral 62-53 Saturday. Travis Paleo had 16 points and four rebounds, Carlo Billings scored 15 points, grabbed seven rebounds and had six assists and Isaiah Bernard scored eight points and had eight rebounds.
Troy, Capistrano Valley, St. Margaret’s, Orange Lutheran and Pacifica Christian are also in the event, hosted by St. John Bosco basketball.
