Garden Grove defeats Segerstrom 21-14 in overtime and wins Big 4 League title

Garden Grove’s football team scored a 2-yard TD run by Mike Carrillo in the second overtime to defeat Segerstrom 21-14 Thursday night at Michael A. Monsoor Memorial Stadium,

The Argonauts took the early lead on a 10-yard TD pass from quarterback Jacob Zazueta to Carrillo.

Zazueta had an 8-yard run later in the quarter.

Garden Grove led 14-0 but Segerstrom came back to tie the game 14-14 on touchdown runs by Jacob Rodriguez in the second half.

Garden Grove (9-1) wins the title with a 3-0 record. Segerstrom (8-2) fell to 2-1.
