Before taking on Apple Valley in the quarterfinal round of the CIF Division 5 playoffs, the Western Pioneers put in lots of time getting ready for the game.
Western (11-1) will be taking on Orange Vista (9-3) Friday night on the road in the semifinals and is looking to advance into next weekend’s CIF finals. With a victory, Coach Dan Davidson’s team would be home for the finals. The winner faces the winner of the Newbury Park vs. Thousand Oaks semifinal. Newbury Park is the top seed.
