Portola High School girls basketball standout Nina Saiki joined a special club earlier this week.
At the Las Vegas Classic, the senior scored her 1,000th career point in a 63-33 victory over Paradise Honors. Saiki finished the game with 21 points.
“Nina joins her older sister Moka Saiki on the 1,000 point scorers list,” said Portola Coach Brian Barham. “This season, Nina is Portola’s leading scorer averaging 13 points per game. Nina is the fourth Bulldog to hit the 1,000 point milestone.”
