PORTOLA 54, NORTHWOOD 52 (OT): Freshman Bianca Morrell sank the go- ahead basket with 22 seconds left in overtime and the Bulldogs made a final stop against Northwood in a Pacific Coast League game Friday night at Portola.
Moka Saiki scored 27 points and Kira Watanabe 15 points to lead Portola (7-4, 1-0).
Northwood (4-3, 0-2) was led by Brooke Schultz with 14 points. Abigail Chu had 12 points and Uma Joshi 10 points.
WOODBRIDGE 74, IRVINE 29: The Warriors captured a Pacific Coast League victory at Irvine. Teagan Burrus scored 30 points, Anna Jensen had 14 points and Hana Watanabe 11 points to lead Woodbridge (8-2, 2-0).
