“Eli Sutherland, Waldo Castrejon, and Jett Rauch all played an incredible game on Friday,” said Coach Jack McInally. “They all had interceptions. Eli Sutherland had a pick six. Our offense struggled for sure.
“They had a great game-plan, and we didn’t execute. Our defense played lights out and won us that game. We had some red zone struggles on offense that we will fix during the bye. Special teams had been a big weakness for us this year, but we got it right this game. We are a little banged up so this bye is coming at a perfect time. We should have three starters back after the bye.”
Capistrano Valley Christian (1-3) plays at St. Margaret’s Friday night.
