Segerstrom High School’s girls basketball team is still in the hunt for the Golden West League title entering the final week of the league season.

The Jaguars (17-8, 6-2) are one-game behind league leading Godinez (17-9, 7-1). Segerstrom hosts Godinez Thursday night. The Jaguars capped last week with a 54-14 victory over Garden Grove.
Stephanie Valenciano scored 15 points and had 10 rebounds, three assists and six steals to lead Segerstrom. Claudia Solis had 14 points, six rebounds and seven assists and Abby Quero had eight points, three assists and four steals for the Jaguars.
Segerstrom plays at Katella Tuesday night.
