Segerstrom High School’s boys basketball team celebrated senior night Friday with a 50-43 non-league victory over Samueli Academy of Santa Ana.
Segerstrom (10-14 overall) was led by Nicholas Cervantes, who had 11 points. Adrian Dominguez had 10 points and Ricky Carballea and Nathan Castillo added nine points each. Castillo was named player of the game, according to Segerstrom Coach Rex Gonzales.
Samueli Academy (9-10) was led by Julian Chanelo with 10 points and Christian Couglin with nine points. Samueli Academy plays in the Express League and has a 4-1 league mark.
